Explore your options at LSAC’s free Law School Forums. This forum is a chance for international students and lawyers interested in a U.S. law degree to meet with representatives from U.S. law schools that offer LLM degree programs.
The LLM, or Master of Laws, helps lawyers expand their knowledge or study a specialized area of law. Additionally, if you’ve earned a law degree outside the United States, an LLM may make you eligible to sit for a bar exam in some U.S. jurisdictions. It can be valuable for many legal professionals, including those who want to earn a U.S. law degree and return to their home country, lawyers from other countries who wish to practice in the U.S., and JD graduates in the U.S. who want to enhance their legal credentials with an advanced or specialized law degree.
During the forum, representatives from U.S. law schools will be available to answer your questions one-on-one via chat, video, or phone. School lists will be available at least two weeks prior to the event.
Join us in the Auditorium for real-time conversations with a range of experts who will be available throughout the forum. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions that will be answered in live discussions or via chat, and receive insights tailored to your needs.
To guide the conversation, focused topics will rotate every 30 minutes. Each topic will be covered twice.
